15 ways to avert a climate crisis

I'm posting the video of a talk by Al Gore. When I consider that this man actually won the election in 2000, it breaks my heart. He could be - is supposed to be - our president. Also, can you, in your wildest imagination, picture George Bush giving a talk like this --- even being CAPABLE of giving a talk like this? And, finally, how is it that people criticized Al Gore for being "wooden"? He is nothing of the sort. He is warm, funny, relaxed, personable. You know, the survival of the planet may have depended on that election. And we, the American people, blew it.

Okay, folks. This is very strange. For some reason, the video isn't showing up in Firefox. I have no idea why. If the video does not appear on your browser, use this link:

Okay, a little reality check here. Gore was "wooden" when he was on the campaign trail. Had he come across as he has since then, he might have won so overwhelmingly that the election couldn't have been stolen by Bush. Just for the record, I both campaigned for and voted for Gore.
