He simply wants an unchallenged dictatorship

Take a look at this first paragraph from an AP article:

WASHINGTON - President Bush said Wednesday that he will not sign a new eavesdropping bill if it does not grant retroactive immunity to U.S. telecommunications companies that helped conduct electronic surveillance without court orders.

And here's what John Aravosis had to say about it over on AMERICAblog:

Bush has been telling us for years that all the domestic spying he was doing was legal. AT&T told us that the spying was legal. Then why do they need immunity now if everything they were doing was legal?

But, of course, it wasn't legal. We all know that. And Bush is admitting it by demanding retroactive immunity.
